United Kingdom: Intrastat Reporting when the UK leave the EU
When the United Kingdom left the EU, businesses registered for Intrastat reporting need to continue to provide HMRC with Intrastat declarations for the movement of goods between the UK and EU member states for statistical purposes. This must be done in the normal way by 21st of each month.
The statistical trade data information businesses provide through Intrastat declarations is invaluable to UK Government. It is used to gather data and statistics that provide key indicators on the state of the UK economy, helps set overall trade policy and supports businesses to assess market opportunities.
Businesses will still need to comply with any customs declaration procedures and requirements to import and export goods between the UK and EU member states. To find out more information about this, go to Gov.uk.
