, the parent company which Taxback International resides under. After graduating from Trinity College Dublin, Terry formulated the Taxback.com business concept while working as a student in Germany. He has been the innovator and driver of the group to its present global market leader position with over 1,200 employees in 33 countries worldwide Terry is a former winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the HSBC European Entrepreneur Award. Terry attributes success to his team of highly skilled, committed staff, building lasting partnerships and a constant focus on developing new services.

Eamon Clune is Taxback International’s Chief Innovation Officer, challenging everything from the way Taxback International operates internally to how we deliver services to our clients. Eamon works across the entire organization to help identity, share and implement the best ideas. As a technology guru and evangelist, he researches and explores new technologies to continually innovate and delight our customers. Throughout his career at Taxback International, Eamon has shaped the business across various concepts, including implementing industry-leading machine learning, artificial intelligence and Robotic Process Automation to achieve a fully automated VAT recovery solution. Eamon has also developed a highly advanced analytics platform, fully automated tax return preparation SaaS software and many more FinTech solutions. Eamon has a BA in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a BA in Mathematics awarded by Trinity College, University of Dublin.

Catherine is responsible for the overall global commercial strategy and development of Taxback International, driving business growth and market share. This includes ensuring the company continually maintains and improves our client excellence programmes and general satisfaction ratings. Catherine ensures that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic commercial and long-term objectives. Catherine has over 25 years’ experience working with global enterprise technology and fintech companies in the areas of sales, marketing and business development. She holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from Dublin Institute of Technology and a Post Graduate Diploma in International Selling from DIT in partnership with Enterprise Ireland.
Chief Commercial Officer
Barry Noonan, Chief Technical Officer of Taxback International has more than 20 years’ experience in building high performing teams. Having designed, built and managed highly scalable secure transactional eCommerce businesses for numerous global brands. He leads our technology vision and is responsible for all global Engineering and Product groups. His responsibilities include building a technology culture which focuses on addressing customer needs using the latest and most appropriate technology. Barry's current focus includes the implementation of extensive machine learning companywide. He also sits on the Taxback Group Technology Committee, responsible for the overall direction of technology at the Taxback Group. Prior to joining Taxback International in 2019, Barry has worked in diverse industries including Online Travel, Airlines and Bookmaking where he held multiple senior Technology Management positions. Barry holds an MSc Management Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin, an H.DIP Information Technology & B.A. Finance from the National University of Ireland Maynooth.

Johanna Waara is the commercial owner of Taxback Internationals sales organisation and expansion strategy in Europe. In her role Johanna focuses on the development of effective sales cycles and top line growth for the region according to set KPIs. Central to her role is also the management and optimization of relationships with partner organisations in Europe through clear customer engagement goals and effective management of joint sales pipelines particularly for the Enterprise segment. Johanna has over 10 years of experience driving growth strategies in global Fintech with a proven track record of delivering sales revenues and organisational efficiencies in new markets. She holds an Executive MBA from Henley Business School.

Joe Healy is Director, Strategic Partnerships at Taxback International and has over 18 years’ experience in business development, supporting clients ranging from start-ups through to multinationals. Joe has driven business development and Partner integration at Taxback International for 10 years. During his tenure Taxback International has become the dominant global VAT refund provider in the market. Taxback International have 12,000 + corporate clients in over 109 countries and many of these are members of the Fortune 500. Joe is responsible for maximising synergies and alignment with strategic partners to ensure delivery of value added VAT recovery services to multinational clients. Joe holds a Bachelor of Business Studies and Marketing degree (BBS) from the Institute of Technology Tralee, in his home County of Kerry, Ireland.

With 15 years VAT experience behind her, Lisa has managed VAT Compliance issues and recovery solutions globally for Taxback International for over 7 years. Taxback International have 12,000 + corporate clients in over 109 countries and many of these are members of the Fortune 500. Lisa is responsible for maximising and ensuring the delivery of value added VAT Reclaim & Compliance services to all clients. ‘I work with our Domestic VAT Recovery, VAT Registrations and Consultancy teams to assist our clients with their worldwide VAT/GST compliance obligations. Darren Heaphy is a professional with leadership experience and a proven track record in operations, change management, product development and project management.
