14th November: On 7 October 2022, further regulatory framework documents were adopted to proceed with the implementation of e-Invoicing.
8th March: The French tax authorities have released the updated version of the VAT return for 2022 (CA3) and an explanatory note.
10th February: Since 1 January 2022 companies have an obligation to obtain a French VAT number if they import goods into France and as per the new rules, companies report their import VAT in their VAT returns via the reverse charge mechanism instead of paying it to the Customs office.
